Ferragamo Bright Leather

Ferragamo Bright Leather is the new men's fragrance in the Ferragamo story, who redefines masculinity by showing his inner strength and feelings without filters, far from any kind of stereotype and without prejudice, never stopping dreaming of a new era. As I've learnt myself in the past couple of weeks, there is no shame in shedding a tear or two and I'm now more appreciative of the brands that support that kind of masculinity.

Fresh and sophisticated, this EDT opens with top notes of Bergamot, Mandarin and Grapefruit. The opening is very citrus-y as you might expect and reminds me of picnics at the foot of the hill. At the heart of the fragrance, the herbal greenness of Basil intertwines with the aromatic soul of Rosemary before leaving the scene to Ferragamo Bright Leather soft accord.

It has a beautiful blend and the notes feel very natural and not synthetic at all. It finally settles into the notes of Cedarwood, Patchouli and Musk that enrich this dreamy journey adding even more sensuality to this vibrant composition.

Ferragamo (FOR MEN OR MAN)

Top notes are Sage, Bergamot and Lemon. I really got a heavy push from the lemon but it dovetailed nicely in the middle notes of Violet Leaf, Leather and Cedar.

The leather brings back some old fashioned masculinity which makes this a mature scent, The base notes are Oakmoss, Musk and Vetiver, though I couldn't really notice the oakmoss. The distinctive Gancini buckle embellishes the modern bottle it comes in. The inspiration for this perfume was the idea of men as masters of their destiny. Available £85.

Ferragamo Spicy Leather

Spicy Leather by Salvatore Ferragamo is a Leather fragrance for men. Having been designed to embody a daring sense of adventure and unapologetic confidence, Salvatore Ferragamo’s Spicy Leather pure perfume is a statement addition to any distinguished gentleman's collection. Ferragamo Spicy Leather was launched in 2021. The nose behind this fragrance is Antoine Maisondieu. Top notes are Saffron, Bergamot and Lemon. You will get a very fresh bergamot opening that and the scent reinterprets modern masculinity with a sensual touch, combining grounding notes of sandalwood and patchouli with a bold leather accord and an array of piquant spices.

 The middle notes are Black Pepper, Clary Sage, Nutmeg and Cedar. The nutmeg takes me back to Winter Wonderland, with a glass of glutwein in one hand and a hot dog in another. The base notes are Leather, Sandalwood and Patchouli. The whole scent is a potent finish, very strong and impactful. Wear if you want to make a lasting impression.
