Kiehl’s Facial Toner, Corrective Cream & Dark Spot Corrector Review

Today I want to talk about a skincare brand close to my heart. I've been an avid follower and customer of Kiehl’s for as long as I can remember. Though our promotional paths have never crossed until now. I've long since known about the brand's proud heritage that spans all the way back to the original Kiehl’s apothecary which first served its patrons at the corner of 13th Street and Third Avenue in New York City in 1851.

I consider Kiehl’s to be the trailblazers for grooming, what other brand can lay claim to having more than 103 Kiehl’s products and artefacts inducted into the permanent collection of the Division of Medicine and Science at the Smithsonian National Museum in Washington, D.C.? Or having the clout and magnitude to sponsor an Everest Expedition? And not just any expedition. The first ascent of the mountain’s east face without supplemental oxygen in '88 where the climbers took along several Kiehl’s products to support them on their heroic journey.

Their sustainability pledge also hits the high watermark that other grooming brands should aspire to reach. From using renewable ingredients, to drastically reducing virgin plastic usage, it's another important box ticked for Kiehl’s.

OK I get it Carl, you dig the brand and they have history. Let me give you a brief overview of some of the Kiehl’s products I was sent on.

Calendula Herbal Extract Toner

This facial toner for oily skin and normal skin has been beloved by Kiehl’s customers since the 1960’s. Their cult-classic formula contains hand-picked Calendula flower petals with other ingredients like Great Burdock Root Extract.

Nice and calming influence on my skin. Feels natural and smells great.

Super multi corrective cream

Their anti-ageing corrective cream is designed to visibly lift, firm, smooth, refine texture, even tone, and boost radiance. It offers a multi-targeted approach to diminishing 7 key visible signs of ageing including fine lines and wrinkles, loss of elasticity and uneven tone and texture.

Quick thoughts:

My lines feel soothed, although you'll never get rid of some of those deep lines. But they don't feel as brutal anymore. It does feel like a luxurious experience applying the cream and it enriches my skin.

Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution

A targeted dark spot corrector that helps boost radiance and improve skin clarity. Formulated with Activated C plus White Birch and Peony Extracts. This efficacious facial serum for dark spots helps visibly brighten the appearance of skin and help to diminish dark spots and skin discolouration's.

Quick thoughts:

It aided the brightness of my skin. I don't suffer from dark spots thankfully, but I did enjoy the radiant, subtle glow it left on my skin.
