TWISTED Automotive: Land Rover Defenders Customised to Your Desires

Today I'm going to share some information about the new Twisted Automotive customised Land Rover. Thirsk-based Land Rover Defender specialist Twisted has given the iconic British Defender a sustainable twist by unveiling its first-ever fully electric offering.

Last week I was honoured to be invited to spend some time with Twisted Automotive around London in their new fleet of customised Land Rovers. The Twisted EV is the culmination of thousands of hours development and is now ready for customers to experience. The EV system has been engineered from the ground up, using the highest quality only new automotive components, to ensure there is no compromise. The T-V8 (450hp / 0-60 in 5 seconds) is their fastest Defender ever to leave its factory, and the T-VS (308hp), its turbocharged petrol engine. The Twisted EV system has also been designed to be completely modular and is available to suit all 90, 110 and 130 Defender. The vehicle will be sold internationally, with a number of vehicles currently in build for Twisted US customers. All vehicles are ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone) compliant for London drivers.

Together with the recently launched electric model, the T-VE (range 140-180 miles) they comprise the most comprehensive range of Defender powertrains ever.

New customers have three ways into Twisted ownership, Defined, Commissioned and Certified. A Defined Twisted is a Defender that, based on 21 years of experience, has just the right amount of specification added to it to make it the best it can be. Commissioned allows those customers with a very firm view of how they would like their Twisted to be to create a vehicle that is unique to them. A Certified Twisted is a pre-owned vehicle that has been thoroughly inspected by the factory, had any faults rectified, is fully serviced and sold with the benefit of a new warranty. All come with the sought after Twisted build plaque.
