Men-Ü Skincare & Grooming | 90% Less Plastic in Packaging

Founded in the UK in 2001, men-ü offer a range of products for shaving, stylish, hair and body.

It is a revolutionary line of high performance, ultra-concentrate products and has great innovative refill packaging that reduces ones carbon footprint. I also want to mention that the packaging have very handy atomisers that mean you don’t ‘over pump’.

There is a locking pump is perfect for accurate dosage and encourages you to use the refills which are cheaper. The press release boasts 90% less plastic and packaging which is a real USP and quite the head turner I have to say.

The larger bottles are quite muscular with its square rectangular bottles whilst the 100ml ‘buddy’ size products are perfect for travelling!

HEALTHY FACIAL WASH

If like me you shave to keep your beard in check, a decent facial wash is a must. One of the biggest mistakes the modern man can make is to have an unkempt beard. Just washing alone is not sufficient. A Healthy Facial Wash like this one with a  a high concentration of tea tree oil which is a natural antiseptic and antibacterial is just the ticket to help prevent spots and shaving rashes. 

MATT MOISTURISER REFIL KIT

This is an oil and fragrance free moisturiser. Which can sometimes have a clinical scent but this one doesn’t. If you’re already applying aftershave and maybe some beard oil, you don’t want your face to be a mixture of a thousand different notes.

This Matt Moisturiser Refill Kit can be purchased as a refill bottle without the pump and should be applied. I found it the liquid to be rich, applied evenly and absorbed quickly without leaving any residue.

3 MINUTE D-TOX 

That’s about as long as my Detox’s last these days. Boom-tish. This is a fast drying, deep cleansing and absorbent mask with kaolin clay, witch hazel and zinc oxide. It’s designed to removes excess oil, dead skin cells, impurities and blockages leaving skin clean, dry, smooth, firm and fresh.

A mask is always a funny thing for me to get to grips with. For one it freaks my dog Charlie out when I come out the bathroom with clay on my face.

However, that aside, there is no better feeling than a complete exfoliation that comes with a clay mask like this.

The key is find a place in the routine to do it. Personal tip: Hanging the washing out or doing the washing up. Always a rough 3 minute window to apply a mask. Who said guys can’t multi-task!

BLACK PEPPER & BERGAMOT SHOWER GEL 500ML 

This does what every decent shower gel should do, it lathers up. I am going through a cold shower phase, which I recommend everyone to do in the morning if you want to get your mind battle ready.

It’s a fully horrendous one minute ritual that I put myself through but this shower gel at least cushions the blow with its soft fragrance.
