Men's Outfit of the Day | Style Edit
Whilst the weather is getting cooler, my dress sense is actually getting brighter which is down to renewing my love for wearing my favourite colour, yellow. Of course that has been made possible after finding this incredible yellow sweater by a relatively new brand called Centre Front, started by a former fashion buyer from ASOS. So todays outfit of the day, style edit is all about how to style a brightly coloured jumper and the key is to use a basic colour palette.
When wearing a bright coloured piece of clothing such as a jumper, trainers, t-shirt etc, it works extremely when when pairing with dark, basic colours such as navy and black. Whatever the bold piece of clothing is, combine it with these dark colours. So for example, I wouldn't wear a pair of yellow trainers with this outfit, as I feel the yellow in the jumper AND trainers could clash. However if you were wearing a pair of yellow trainers, change the jumper to a plain dark colour, such as black. I just think it works extremely well. Simple but effective.
In this outfit of the day, which is actually perfect to wear during the weekend I'm combining the yellow Centre Front jumper with a pair of black ripped jeans from ASOS, Chelsea boots by NEXT and an overcoat by Antony Morato. I've accessorised with my leather 24hr bag by Jack Russell and scarf from Fisher & Woordes.
