10 Car Accessories Worth Splurging On: The Ultimate Guide

I've been lucky enough to have been behind the wheel of many a fine automobile. And each time I put on my leather driving gloves, balling my fingers to a fist repeatedly and unnecessarily, slide into the front seat that will hopefully be pre-heated with camel suede upholstery, and turn the ignition I think to myself, does life get any better than this? 

Well it really could. And I'm constantly looking to upgrade all elements in my life (except the missus, she can stay..... for now) and I've pulled together a mini wish list of Luxury Car Features that I would happily splurge on if money was no option. So here goes..

2. Premium Sound Systems: High-end audio systems from brands like Bang & Olufsen, Bowers & Wilkins, or Harman Kardon provide an exceptional listening experience. At Bang & Olufsen especially they focus in the art of sound reproduction, and ever since 1925 have worked on putting the listener in touch with all the beautiful details music has to offer. 3. Comfort and Convenience Features: Features like adjustable seats with massage function, heated and ventilated seats, and automatic climate control contribute to a luxurious driving experience. 5. Adaptive Suspension: This feature adjusts the suspension based on road conditions, enhancing both comfort and performance. Best to talk to your dealer or garage on how you can best upgrade to these specs. 

6. Premium Materials: Quality leather upholstery, genuine wood or metal accents, and soft-touch surfaces add to the luxurious ambiance. Let's not also forget that Savile Row tailors have been known for recreating car upholstery's. 7. Advanced Lighting: LED or adaptive headlights improve visibility and safety, while ambient lighting enhances the interior atmosphere. 8. Driver Assistance Technology: Features like automated parking, 360-degree cameras, and night vision assist in parking and manoeuvring. I ain't kidding I found the best car parking kit camera for only £40 and it looks like it should have one a Dragon's Den medal. 

9. Performance Enhancements: High-performance engines, sport-tuned suspensions, and all-wheel drive systems can elevate driving dynamics. I am going to put the words 'Sport-Tuned' on my CV. Everyone loves the sound of that don't they? Again one to ask your local mechanic or a "Dave" in the pub. Every Dave in the pub knows about cars.
