LIVE IT UP like a local at the W LONDON HOTEL

Last week Tuula and I enjoyed the ‘Live it Up’ staycation offering at W London in Leicester Square. I can certainly recommend this as a great experience if you're looking to treat your partner for Valentine's Day. 

It is an experience rather than just a place to park your head for the night and take some Insta photos of a lavish bedroom. Although the bedroom is amazing. The experience really kicks in when peel through the options on the iPad. Otherwise known as the Digivalet. It's easy to use you can control all the crucial things like room temperature, mood lighting, room service etc. 

Other things about the suite had all the trappings I'd hope for from a modern luxury hotel. Big shower space, nice comfy mattress and a bonus for us is that they welcome dogs so we spent the night there with Charlie and Chips. 

Naturally you're in central London so you have the world at your fingertips. I recommend catching a film at one of my favourite cinemas The Prince Charles Cinema just round the corner. Or meat lovers experience some incredible cuisine at Fogo De Chao just over the road. That said we took advantage of our £50 hotel credit you get with your Live it Up package and ate in the restaurant in the hotel. 

We enjoyed the breakfast for 2 that comes with the package so much that we knew the dinner would be good in the hotel. 

The cocktail masterclass at the Hotel Bar, The Perception, was a lot of fun. Anyone that caught my story on instagram would have seen Tuula's shaker come undone and spray everyone within a 5 foot radius. My sides split! We had two cocktails from the menu and the mixologist who gave us the lesson couldn't have been more gracious and generous. (We weren't strictly limited to 2 cocktails each I'll just say that). 

Lastly, although it's not inclusive in the Live it Up package, it is worth mentioning that W London’s AWAY Spa facility and spa offering is also open in case you wanted to pamper yourself or your loved one. Facials, massages, it always goes down a storm. Many thanks to all the staff at W London who gave Tuula and I a truly memorable experience.
