SHAVING WITH THE AMERICAN CREW LATHER SHAVE CREAM

This week I test drove the latest shaving product from one of my favourite men’s grooming brands American Crew. The product is the American Crew Lather Shave Cream which has been developed with the brand’s expertise from behind the barber chair. This new product is an essential tool in your home barber’s toolkit for a classic shave.

I rarely fully wet-shave these days but I do still shave when tidying up the edges of my beard and also underneath my chin. For this shaving test, I wanted to test the ‘Lathering up’ of the product as that was its main unique selling point, I mean it is even in it’s name! I can confirm that the product lavers up very well and only needs a small amount of water to do that. It also stays on the skin for a long time without dissolving and having to reapply. I found that a small amount applied with a tiny amount of water lasted for a full shave. However the product also wasn’t too heavy. What I mean by that is you can still see your beard underneath the product which is critical when doing precision shaving like I do.
