Sage Appliances Introduce the 3X Bluicer Pro 'Life Hacks' to save time and space in the Kitchen
Today I'm going to talk about a new life hack I've discovered since using the new Bluicer from Sage.
With the Sage 3X Bluicer Pro, you can blend, juice or combine both. (Hence the name Bluicer). Create healthier and flavoursome smoothies, frappes, slushies and fresh cocktails by combining blended and juiced fresh ingredients into your creations.
Using the Bluicer has now been a healthy permanent fixture in my morning routine along with coffee, my doggie walks with Charlie and sweating it out at Kobox boxing gym. It's also a great time saver. Thanks to its expanded 88mm feed-chute, I don't have to get the chopping boards out and pre-cut any of the fruit or vegetables.
The 3X Bluicer Pro has a Kinetix® bowl and blade system specifically designed to crush and chop to turn ice into snow, fold and aerate for creamy smoothies and soups.
And boy am I loving my soups right now. Experimenting with soup recipes is a lot of fun. The key is spices. You have to make sure you're not just aimlessly throwing in potatoes and carrots and hoping for the best. Invest in a good spice rack, fresh spices also. TIP: Mint works amazingly will for both detox juices and soups. You can save plenty of time and money by making a batch of soup for future lunches or between meals.
Another USP for the 3x Bluicer Pro is that you can save space in your kitchen. You have one base that performs interchangeable actions. (Blending and juicing). Also, with the pulp bin location behind the product base, the 3x Bluicer Pro features a new and unique space saving design for a better use of your countertop space.
As someone that takes pleasure in creating my own products, I love the idea of being able to mix up and create my own recipes. With party season looming, I’ve got a few nights planned entertaining family and friennds and with that in mind I’ve decided to create my very own Christmas Spiced Frozen Ginger & Orange Negroni. Luckily the Sage Bluicer has its very own pre-programmed Frozen Cocktail button, with blends up the ice into a slushy yumminess. So here is the recipe:
Carl’s Christmas Spiced Frozen Ginger & Orange Negroni
For the Cocktail:
30ml Gin
30ml Campari
30ml Sweet Vermouth Rosso
15-20 Ice Cubes
3cm Piece of Ginger
8 Oranges, peeled
To Garnish:
2 Tablespoons Light Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoons Ground Cinnamon
4 Teaspoons Dried Ground Ginger
1 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
½ Teaspoon Ground Cloves
½ Teaspoon Ground Cardamom
Whole Cinnamon Sticks (optional)
Orange Peel (saved from peeling the oranges)
Method:
1. Combine all of the garnish ingredients (except the whole cinnamon sticks) in a small bowl. Mix well.
2. Set aside to garnish the cocktails later.
3. Add gin, Campari, vermouth and ice into the blender jug and attach to juicer spout.
4. Turn variable speed dial to Speed 8 and juice ginger.
5. Decrease speed to 1 and juice oranges.
6. Remove juicer attachment and place blender jug onto motor base. Close lid securely.
7. Select Frozen Cocktail Program. Wait for program to finish. Serve immediately.
8. Pour the cocktail from the jug into glasses.
9. Garnish with orange peel.
10. Sprinkle your pre-made Christmas spice mix on the top of the cocktail.
11. Garnish with a whole cinnamon stick in desired.
