A Perfect Pair of Outdoor Boots for Winter Dog Walking

Winter is here and after a couple of weeks of dog walking ruining my white converse boots, I was in the market for some hardy, comfortable, outdoor boots. For those of you who have a dog, will realise that for a good 5 months of the year we'll be walking through mud, puddles, dirty leafs and even some surprise doggy poop from time to time. So having a pair of boots that are also easy to clean and waterproof, are essential. You might be thinking wellies, yes they work but for me I would prefer a more day-to-day outdoor boot that you can drive in, walk in and have a coffee in.

Merrell has a huge range of men's and women's hiking boots, walking boots and trail shoes so it is a good place to start shopping. This is the first time I have worn Merrell boots and the comfort is incredible, due to the design and material of the inner footbed and the thickness of the outer sole. These boots are also waterproof but unlike wellies, the waterproof fabric is also breathable and lets moisture escape so you are not left with a damp boot smell throughout your house when you get home.
