Mercure Inverness Hotel Review | Stay Local UK

Last night whilst in the bar at the Mercure Inverness hotel, I was asked about places I have traveled to and without a hesitation I started rolling off incredible secluded islands off of Brazil, Venezuela and of course some places in Africa, all amazing places that are hard to travel to, quite secluded and are totally off the beaten track. Then I was asked the same question but in the UK and I was actually quite stumped. I’ve always lived in the UK and of course I’ve visited a fair number of cities and places but it become apparent that I haven’t been to many amazing areas of attraction or natural beauty that we DO have within these shores.
